Born and raised on the west side of Charlotte, NC, Elevator Jay found plenty of exposure to the arts, particularly in sound as he has been writing and producing his own music since the age of 12. His ultimate goal is to keep the spirit of southern rap alive while remaining true to the influences that pioneered the sound. Overall, he's a true to heart creator, music producer, writer and emcee.
